CrunchBang Linux (crunchbang.org), often symbolised as #!, was a Debian GNU/Linux based distribution which was very fast and bare-bones. But good. There was barely any user interface and most of the interactions revolved around the right click menu which revealed everything you needed to get to apps. I believe it was started by Philip Newborough (aka corenominal), self confessed web developer and Linux enthusiast.
